Open Call For Fig Recipes!

Feast your eyes on these delectable figs! They come straight from my grandma's backyard. Only problem now is, what to make with them?

Do you have any spectacular fig recipes? If so, send me a link here and I'll post the results! Or leave a comment with some scrumptious ideas!

I have a great recipe for a quick fig jam if you want to check it out:
Fig jam. The picture of the figs your grandma gave you is beautiful. No matter what you decide to make... enjoy!

I like to cut it in half, stuff it with some goat cheese and grill on high heat quickly...

well hello! i linked to this b/c we just made a very simple fig 'recipe', but foodgawker didn't take the picture: http://www.weareneverfull.com/figs-glorious-figs/

so easy and simple - and healthy! it also really helps showcase the taste of the fig.

another great way to eat it is in savory dishes, like sauteing halves with stock, onions and garlic and serving it w/ chicken. i don't have a recipe up, but if you google 'daisy martinez figs' it may come up (it's her recipe). GOOD LUCK!
