i had the BEST club sandi today! over at this place near my house that i always drive by. it's got the craziest sign -
Gus's Drive In, Gourmet Fast Casual Restaurant - isn't that fabulous! that's really why i went there.
anyway, i couldn't decide what to get. there were about a billion menu items. gus told me to try a combo plate, he suggested the chicken sourdough sandwich combo, but i went with the club.
i always love the club! and gus made a good one! sometimes i like to take out the middle layer of bread because it can be too much, but at this place, the bread was so thin - the perfect width for three slices in one bite! anyway, i love the sign, and i love the place! and plus it was pretty packed with a good downtown lunch break crowd. HIGHLY recommended if you are heading West out of downtown on 3rd street and looking for a fast gourmet snack!!!
