Want To Hide The CD Spindle On Your Desktop?

Michael and I have been working on our office space for over two months now. I'm in the process of organizing the desktop when I hit a problem...our office/kitchen area is tiny. I'm talking REAL tiny, and finding storage space is a huge problem.....ditto on counter space! So when arranging the kitchen and office I came across two things that I could not find a space for: The CD spindle and a cheese plate with a glass dome.

(cue bell sound and imaginary light bulb above my head!) HELLO?! Combine the two! Even though burning CD's is totally on it's way out because of flash drives, we still keep them around and that cheese plate only gets used a few times a year, but storing the two has always proven to be a problem.

So all I did was store the base of the cheese plate in the cupboard, and place the dome over the CD spindle, and Voila! A much more elegant, and somewhat disguised CD spindle. It doesn't take up less room, but if it's got to be out, then might as well make it look good, right?
